Oscar Party

Parties are the most fun when you’re with a bunch of people you don’t know but would love to meet. That’s exactly how the Oscar® after-parties are. Some of the Academy Award® soirees are “watching parties” where you get to enjoy the Oscar® show with the nominees for the awards. Other parties occur after the show, when the nominees are celebrating or commiserating. VIP Concierge can put you right in the middle of the most famous filmmakers and celebrities on this pear-shaped planet. We have tickets to these fine after-Oscar® parties.

  1. The Weinstein brothers are hosting two parties this year. Bob and Harvey are having a pre-Oscar® party on February 23. It’s at the Soho House on West Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard, which is near the Beverly Hills Hotel, where many of the parties on Oscar® night take place. Both of the Weinstein brothers’ parties last from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., and both come fully equipped with an open bar. Few things make a party come alive like an open bar. On the 24th, the brothers switch locations and have their Oscar® watching party at the Mondrian Hotel on the Sunset Strip. Most folks who attend the pre-party hit the after-party too. That’s how good the Weinstein’s parties are. Last year, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio and Katy Perry graced the affairs.
  2. VIP Concierge also has tickets to one of the highest visibility post-Oscar® parties anywhere. Elton John’s Oscar® Viewing Party and Dinner is always classy and more fun than a new puppy. This rang-dang-doo is at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. All the money taken in at the event goes to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. With such a good cause, you won’t feel guilty spending the money to go to the bash. Elton and his band perform, and all the stars come out for this Oscar® get together. Some of the mega-luminaries seen at last year’s affair were Kate Beckinsale, Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Goldie Hawn, Calista Flockhart and Bladerunner Harrison Ford himself. That’s what I call a ball.
  3. Entertainment moguls, television actors, movie stars and the money men all show up at the Beverly Hills Hotel on the strip for The Night of 100 Stars Oscar® Viewing Dinner and Party. Around 200 industry professionals will be at this hullabaloo, including over 50 Oscar® winners and nominees from years past. You can be there too.
